The collection showcases the artist's strength and attitude, while drawing inspiration from the symbolism of Future’s nickname Pluto, the once ninth planet in the solar system, known as a symbol of regeneration and transformation.

The Lanvin Lab project, first introduced in June, aims to foster creative collaboration and unique cultural dialogue among artists and designers. The initiative draws parallels between Future's creative prowess and the ethos of Jeanne Lanvin, the founder of Lanvin, who thrived in the wave of creativity during Pluto's discovery in 1930.

As the founder of Freebandz, an entertainment company with a family-centric focus, Future also resonates with the mother-and-daughter relationship dynamic between Jeanne and Marguerite Lanvin. The inaugural collection paying homage to Marguerite, a notable musician and muse.

“I created a vibe with this collection, something you can feel when you wear it,” said Future. “Jeanne Lanvin drew inspiration from her life and lifestyle. We are the same in that way, we create from experience.”

The collection emphasizes Future's love for layering and tailoring, and accessories. Faux-fur hats, sunglasses, and metal accents on belts, bags, gloves, and leather goods define the collection's unique aesthetic. It also offers sleep sets, complete with slippers, a pillow, and a mask.

Moreover, inspired by the Lanvin archives, Future created a standout leather jacket adorned with metallic studs forming a constellation. Likewise, typography from Lanvin perfume campaigns from the 1930s-1940s is printed onto denim, paying tribute to the brand's heritage. Additionally, Future introduces his own updated sneaker, the Curb 3.0.

The collection launches with a campaign, photographed by Joshua Woods, featuring Future alongside model Amelia Gray. It will be released in multiple drops, beginning Monday and continuing into early 2024.
