With a deep understanding of the fashion sector and luxury realm, following from her tenure at Chloé and subsequently at the British house Burberry, Laurence Lapierre now joins the French team at KCD, an agency established four decades ago.

Lapierre holds a master's degree in public relations communication from ISCOM, a Paris-based marketing and communications school, and a degree in general management from ESSEC business school. She began her career briefly working as a public relations assistant for Thierry Mugler, before joining French fashion house Chloé in September 1999 as head of press relations, international public relations and VIP strategy.

The executive then joined the century-old Burberry label, where she worked for over 15 years. From July 2012 to July 2023, she served as the director of marketing and communications for the European region, shaping and leading the luxury brand's international strategy, including the integration of its beauty division, Burberry Beauty.

"We are delighted to welcome Laurence Lapierre to our Paris team," stated Alexis Arnault, partner at KCD Paris, in a press release. "Her extensive marketing, digital expertise, and exceptional industry knowledge are invaluable assets she will bring to our clients."

As senior vice president of the PR agency's Paris office, Lapierre will oversee agency operations in collaboration with the management team and manage multiple agency budgets starting January.

Specializing in press, communication, creative aspects, and now expanding into new technologies and entertainment, KCD represents a diverse clientele of about 100 entities. Among its clientele are fashion houses such as Balmain, Diesel, Versace, and Fendi, beauty entities including Coty and L'Oréal, esteemed institutions like The Met museum in New York, and the streaming giant Netflix.
