Farfetch's latest Beat collab is with Off-White

Published

Off-White can always be relied on to make an impact and so can Farfetch’s regular Beat collabs. So the latest Off-White collection, dubbed _LOGIC, and its Farfetch Beat 011 link-up should generate lots of interest.

It’s got a huge dose of what made Off-White one of the most interesting labels of recent years. Building on founder Vigil Abloh’s legacy of “perpetually provoking fresh cultural conversations”, the new _LOGIC collection is a two-part archive-inspired capsule.

The offer “plainly articulates the rational and recognisable line between Abloh and future projects by remixing foundational house codes and styles,” we’re told.

Included are T-shirts and hoodies (both available in black or white), that showcase “an archival survey of past graphics, logos that are emblems of the brand’s decade-long history”.

A trademark black ‘OW’ Varsity jacket “serves up heritage characters via patches on its white sleeves and places the brand’s philosophy — defining the grey area between black and white — on the back”.

There’s also a low-top Out Of Office sneaker that “distills core brand elements” in two versions. One is black and white “stripped back to the shoe’s essential components, and one premium style with elevated detailing introduces Off-White’s signature blue”.

As for the input of the Beat programme, the capsule includes a reimagined sub-collection of 10 T-shirts and 10 hoodies from the _LOGIC capsule, featuring the work of New York artist Phillip Leyesa, who customised select pieces using his used/cut-off/distressed effect with blue, black and white paint brushes.

The wider _LOGIC collection also includes a curated selection of home objects such as a poster of Off-White’s archival graphics and logos and three area rugs.

The collections launched on 20 November on Farfetch and Off-White’s webstores, as well as at independent Off-White stores globally and select retail partners worldwide.
